She's pretty. Does she seem comfortable or frightened? She looks as if she has been eating well.

she is pretty nervous and a little frightened, but I sit and talk to her she stays and looks at me. she has been eating well at my place as we have food out for the birds

I moved her into the larger budgie cage yesterday that I set up with some new toys. she seems happier in there and already starting to show interest in the toys. she ate a lot of the treat stick I gave her ( I know not the healthiest thing) but she loved it and looked very happy enjoying it

Believe it or not my Mickey will devour a whole, raw carrot down to just a shred like a piece of wood. Only problem with that is she has an orange beard for a few days after that. Its more like a toy to her.

WOW!! She really likes those carrots.. Mine would take half a bite and they'd be done, the carrot would hang and dry... Same with any kind of fruit and vegetable. Which is why I like apples so much: they dry but they are still edible, while any other green fruit or vegetable is good for the compost after 2 hours..

My very first bird was a Lilac Crown Amazon that my parents gave to me for my birthday (12/24) and Christmas. She was green and red (and lilac too) and I named her Holly.
