After a long time without a dog (since my rescued GSD passed), I have a new canine companion. This is Sophie, an 11 month old Dogo Argentino. She got here today and is nervous, still settling in. I hope to have a car buddy and do a CGC and obedience with her. She is not a pit bull, although there is a resemblance. I am so excited to have a dog again!

She will! So far, so good with the birds, but she will be crated if they're out.

She is absolutely beautiful!! One of my favourite dog breeds! Unfortunately they are banned in the UK.. I hope she settles in great for you and you have many many years together

Mandatory work relocation. She was being crated 13 hours a day.

Oh wow, I'm so glad she's found her way to you. That's very sad, I can't imagine how much pent up energy she had, how unloved a dog would feel like that.

We're now getting big dog leans, licks, play soliciting, and see joy in the eyes. Tonight, she went out in the backyard to romp and chase her tail.
