Are lovebirds capable of whimpering and acting sooky?? Three days in a row Colin has made this sooky whimpering noise when I stop scratching his head like he wants more. And boy does he love his scratches!
The noise is like short repetitious muted chirps mixed in with panting like a kid would make when pouting their bottom lip in a huff. At first I was like OMG WHATS WRING COLIN?? Because i have read posts about keeping an eye out for changes in breathing especially panting. So on day 1 and 2, i fussed over him when he did it (he only did it once on those days) and he kept going for about 5 minutes until i did something else. Today i thought hmmmm.... there's a trend here , he does it when i stop scratching him and continue doing the housework! So i ignored him and sure enough like a child he stopped as soon as i ignored him. It made me laugh tho!
