wow they r all beautiful. im not a reptile owner due to having an iguana in the past and finally accepting that the rash I continued to get was not a good thing lol. But I still love them. And I never had a tarantula after my sister stuck a shedding in my bed...I will stick to fur and feathers. I really love gremlin tho soo cute. what is the difference between a firefly and vanilla?

Vanilla pastels and fireflies look really similar as babies but completely different as adults, I was hoping it would be easier to tell as she got bigger but its not lol

She is beautiful! Couple years ago the local nature museum had a tarantula exhibit. I was in my glory, there with my camera, mostly alone. I spent hours photographing those beauties. I just loved it. Loved it!

There was a Curly hair, a gorgeous Pink Toe, Mysore Ornamental, Goliath Birdeater, Chilean Rose (I had one of those), a Chaco Giant Golden Stripped, a Giant White Knee, Mexican Fire Leg, Star Burst Baboon, Cobault Blue, Chinese Gold, Ornamental Fringe, Indian Ornamental, Red Slate Ornamental, Sri Lankan Ornamental. Vietnamese Tiger and a Ghost Ornamental. I had to refer to my photographs to name them all.

My brother had a Mexican Red Leg when we were kids. I didn't get my Rosie until I was 25 or so. Any pics you care to post I will love!

I have never had a tarantula, but would like one! I am secretly hoping my son asks for one when he is older so that we can out vote his dad LOL

Some iguanas I handle I tend to get rashes from as well if they do their claws a certain way. Snakes don't do that for me. Only lizard I've come across to do that were iguanas, never had an issue with monitors.

@Lestat I love the hog nose snakes and the blood python, your Hogg makes me miss mine. Sorry about Saturn. Beautiful pictures.

They are all so beautiful! :xflove: I just adore reptiles. Your ball pythons are just stunning, by the way!
I'd love to have one but just could never feed live/frozen rodents.

Thank you, some of my hoggies are hissy drama queens lol and the blood really doesn't like me, he's got me a few times. My Hogg is a bit Jekyll and Hyde and I leave him alone when he's Hyde lol.
@Sylvi_ I have 30 Royals :) one of my females is due to lay soon. I could do a separate post on my royals if you'd like?

Oh, WOW! You have an African Land Snail! Coooooool! They're totally illegal in the States so I'm so jealous. I had a few smaller species of apple snails and ramshorn snails and would've loved a land snail. Glad to know I'm not the only weirdo on the planet! No offense LOL.

Here's a pic of Norm(yellow, he was the size of my fist), Cliff(small brown one), and Sam(ramshorn) eating broccoli:

Wow, that's a lot! I have had a lot of pets but never any reptiles or spider. Well maybe a turtle in the yard but that's different.

The monitor lizard is a bit daunting. We have those in Australia one my parents farm & they get to be about 6 feet long.

Love all the patterns on the snakes. Guess it would be ok to have a snake but I can't see myself with a tarantula though I like spiders just rather they live outside.

@CStone I have a real soft spot for snails :)
@camelotshadow I have 3 monitors all together including an Australian dwarf species called Tonbo, he's a Kimberley rock :) Wibble was a rescue as a baby, I've had him 6 years now and he's roughly 5 1/2 ft long. Niles aren't the nicest though and he can't be handled. I also have a bosc monitor called Kaen and he's lovely. I've been keeping monitors for 15 years and most of them have been rescues, I've had black throats and an Argus as well.
