Here's photos of some (not all) of my fish. They're my other "fids" - fin kids, of course!
Bettas: I actually have about 20 bettas of my own, and foster/place others (if anyone's lookin, PM me). They are all rescues and adoptions, be it from folks who couldn't kepe them, breeders who would cull them, or pet stores that surrendered them with medical problems.
Quasi is my eldest, he's between 4-5y.o.
Watkins, just adopted him from a friend who was fostering him. His first owner's house burned down and she was gracious enough to foster and rehome all of the fish.
Tara. She has a very large tumor cause by lymphocystis and the start of another, but is still a plucky little girl. She will not be euth'd until she shows signs of suffering.
Hub. He's a recent arrival and was supposed to be a foster but I just totally fell in love with him. He's an old boy with a lot of fin damage so he'll be staying.
Goldfish: I have three common goldfish, four fancy goldfish, a koi, and am also presently fostering three common goldfish.
My 12" common goldfish male when I was moving him indoors for the winter.
Him and his sons, Prodigy and Monkey, out in the pond
Cortex, one of my two orandas
My silly little tailless baby Koi, Failboat.
Others: I don't keep many species but I also have dojo loaches, a chinese algae eater, and a convict cichlid
Quon, one of the dojo/weather loaches.
Harar Goldeneye the Chinese Algae Eater
Scofflaw, baby convict cichlid (white variety).
Thanks for lookin!
