Wow, the Owl photos is FANTASTIC!! I was at my Zoo on Friday, and was unable to get good shots as all the Amazons and Macaws were in the Nocturnal section...???

There were a lot of flies by the goats which made for good macro practice.

Cute little military macaw (?) getting some wing excercise
At this zoo everything is really open and it's almost more of a petting zoo. All the animals are really tame so you can feed the camel and the goats and the elephant and the parrots are out in the open on perches. I got the Eagle Owl shots during they're "Talented Animals" show. The trainer brought it around right in front of the audience and I snapped away as fast as I could.
