Picked her up at 230 and went straight to the vet. Not even a year old yet. Super sweet baby.

Dr. O thinks we can get the beak back in place. Said it was a few weeks ago that she was bitten by another bird. I think it might have been a Quaker. She is also missing a toenail. Bacterial infection and her GI isn’t working correctly so she is on antibiotic, antifungals and Celebrex.

She is a very sweet and funny girl. Maui the pineapple cheekie

I like her name. It's easy with the "ee" sound at the end to say her name all excited-like.

Rupert knows his new name now. I couldn't stand "Louie" and he didn't seem to respond to it, so it worked out.

I love these guys so much! I saw my first one at a pet store with two Harley driving dads who were so nervous about her nails being clipped. She was so sweet. Thank you for rescuing this beautiful bird!

Also, Bird lost the tip of his toe. He received immediate treatment and although it didn't grow back(obviously), he is no worse for the wear.
