This proves you want to make sure the animals outside of the tank don't know how to open it, as much as you don't want the animal on the inside opening it :)
You know, I could understand if cats had opposable thumbs, but this cat is like Houdini.
Cage made specifically to keep reptiles in and she still found a way. When I would spend what felt like 5 minutes struggling with the thing to open it. This was a temporary location before my reptile room was set up. Something to think about if you have cats/dogs and decide on a vivarium/aquarium/terrarium without the locking hole.

Now, I opt for locks when I can ;) or makeshift them
