Small cage for blind senior lovebird?

How is the center where the two cages come together? I know that Peanut has a hard time getting around and I know Gracie will be behind her soon from the progression of her arthritis.

Prevue Hampton is one cage with a slot in the front where you can slide in a panel to make it 2 cages.

I have one each of these for Rupert and Sherbs. Rupert sleeps in his every night, and he's got a long tail so your little sweetie would definitely fit in there. It's not super tall, but you could always pad the bottom a bit until she gets used to it.

I think the longer cage might be a little better only because of the room to move around a little bit and get the flappy wing room.
