Sleepy lovebird

Is it normal for them to be sleepy most of the time ? I give them at least 12 hours sleep time but still they seem sleeepy

It would be abnormal for mine, the evil twins are extremely active.

Lovebirds are very active birds as a rule so I suggest you have the bird checked by an avian vet.

Could you define what you mean exactly by most of the time? Are they active for an hour or so and then take a nap?

Exactly they are active for about hour than they get sleepy but don't nap they'r eyes are closing but they resist. Maybe they are afraid to sleep infront of me.
