My three year old dauschund had to be put to sleep yesterday. After going through the weekend of no vets being open we saw a vet on Monday who said she might have asthma which quickly turned into a life threatening case of pneumonia over night. There was nothing else we could do for my sweet girl so we had to let her go. It was so sudden even the vet said we did everything we could in that short time.
Please tell your pets how much you love them every chance you get because one day you'll have to wake up without their cold nose against your cheek or their little chirps for food and you'll miss it more than you thought you would.
