Video Should I be concerned?

I made Java a toy with recycled parts and gave it to him yesterday. My question is: does the chain pose a problem as far as toxicity? He really likes to lick it.

If it's stainless steel it should be okay, if it's nickel plated I think you'll be okay, any other type can be dangerous.

I don't know what it's made of. It was part of a toy I ordered, and I don't think it specified the type of metal. There were stainless steel measuring cups on it but I swapped them out for something that wasn't so noisy since he seemed afraid of it.

If you aren't sure, I'd say better safe than sorry and replace it with SS.

Do you know the manufacturer? You may be able to find out what they usually use. Otherwise, there is no guarantee, as a lot of the popular manufacturer's at Petco, Petsmart, etc, tend to use things that sadly aren't safe

I don't know the manufacturer but I can check my Amazon account and see if I can trace origins that way
