As the time for my new birds arrival creeps closer and I’m getting things together I have been curious if I should get another air purifier. The bird of course will be quarinted and will have a health evaluation by my vet before he/she is moved in with my two cockateils. Should I get another air purifier since conures are not dusty birds and cockatiels are , the room in question is not very big.

And of course it will have its own cage

Conures can be susceptible to the dust, yes. An air purifier will help but housing them separately would be best

If possible, yes, I would keep them in separate rooms. Being related to macaws, conures can be prone to PHS. If you have room in your living room, that should be good. :)
