Rescued two Gloster canaries and I need help sexing them. I was told that they are a pair but source is not reliable.
Initially they were housed in an aviary with zebra finches and they did not not show any interest in nests, however any nesting material i put in the nest would be stolen by the zebs even if they had other nesting material available!
I have now moved them to a quiet breeding cage hoping that they would settle down in a quite cage and need a few experts confirm whether or not they are cock & hen. One was trying to mount (not sure this is the right term) the other and 'A' definitely sings.
