There are several ways of sexing IRNs. Behavior is one. Though the females can learn the telltale male behavior if they are housed with them. (hoping, talking, marching, heart wings, etc)
DNA sexing is always the best way if you really want to know, but a ton of people can tell by the skull. This is very clear when they are just about to get feathers, but also sometimes after.

Skull sexing is still just an educated guess though. DNA is the best way as there is always variation and some girls can have flatter skulls and some boys can have rounder ones.
