Do Gray's have a certain smell vs. Any other parrot? I can't describe Jim's, but there is a definite odor or smell difference in any other parrot I've had.

Josie smells like baby powder.
Yeah, this is definitely not close to that. Maybe it is his poop smells?

I'll powerwash the cage again see if it's just the cage first

Are you noticing it when you get in close for a head sniff? Or when further away?

Of all the grey's I've met I never noticed a scent. My Amazon's give off a sweet musky smell, the macaw doesn't smell like anything in particular. If I get in close enough to any of them I can smell crop breath.

Maybe it is his poop smells?
Bird droppings should never smell.

I don't notice my grey smelling.
My macaws smell sometimes, my ekkies smell quite often.
But I've never noticed the grey.

My CAG has a very mild bird scent for sure. It’s not a bad/health/sickness smell.

I do notice that it isn’t as strong/distinct as my Meyer’s smell, but I also don’t let my CAG on my shoulder or bury my nose in her feathers the way I did with my Meyer’s. My CAG is just more sensitive/spooky, so I don’t like to keep her close to my face.
