Pictures Saw some cuties at the feeders!

Hi all!

We have 4 bird feeders outside (a sunflower seed feeder with black oil sunflower seeds, a platform feeder with a "country mix", a finch sock with a "wild finch blend" and a double suet cage with two suet cakes) and everyone is starting to come out since it's getting warmer!

Today I've seen the 30 or so sparrows that live in our little spruce tree in the backyard, 3 male red-winged blackbirds, 4 mourning doves, 1 woodpecker and a squirrel. Here are some pictures! I took these from my bedroom window, which has a great view of the feeders!

I think so! The sparrows like making a big mess and they fling seeds and stuff all over the place, and squirrels and ground-feeding birds will come and munch on what falls. I'll usually sprinkle some seed on the ground, too.
