Sam is so cute! I want him
Oh my gosh @Lori D Pert I was laughing so hard at him! What a character Sam is - how old is he? I was laughing at your comments in the background too - Holy moly, funny!!! He reminds me of a puppy playing, so so cute!
Such a cutie!
He's not just playing with it. It's half way between playing and trying to hump it.
Blue does the exact same thing, he’s about 4 months old and loves to play on his back.
You know you can’t say that without pictures.
I have some videos of him acting like a 3 year old who ate sugar all day, I’ll post it later on!
Thx for all your replies and I do believe now that Sam is a she. One with lots of personality for sure...lol. She is now 13 weeks and was about 11 weeks when this video was taken.
Sam is adorable!
Oh my gosh, precious! I think Sam has some caique in her genes.
It's the first time I've seen a female so playful. I'm well impressed
Sam is the cutest little goof! What a darling pretty bird!
Am I the only one who also noticed how goofily he scratches himself? He puts his foot out and over his wing to scratch his face. Never seen that before
Aww Sam you´re such a cute little thing!
Oops, I somehow assumed Sam was a boy. My apologies
She is a total goof..and I really wasn't sure whether a he or she. Certainly acts more male but I know that is not really accurate. She chatters, and I know the words "baby bird" has appeared along with garbled speech. She loves to wear her bells like a hat and weaves in and out (upside down) with her ring toys. Lately though the cere is bluish white so I very much think girl now.
I'm pretty sure that lots of budgies do this, and Kiwi often does it! (that is how I discovered his favorite spot for a little scratch!)
Oh, I had no idea! Quakers definitely don't scratch that way. Thanks for enlightening me!
