Long video, 9+ minutes, but skip the first minute or so, its me setting up the camera. Salty runs through almost all of his tricks.

:hug8:Oh my gosh! What a dear he is! I've never seen a parrot like him before, but the name "Salty" is perfect. He does look like a pirate's bird too! hahaha...I loved seeing him, thank you both so much. "Salty, you're amazing!!"

Finally had a chance to watch the video. He is AWESOME!

So what do you use as a treat for these?

Thank you folks. He works hard, every night, and I mean every night. We use little slices of pine nut as his treat.
That video is about 2/3 of the stuff he knows, and I just bought some more, professional tricks for him to learn. We just do these as a means of bonding, not to do a 'show' somewhere, or to make $$ of videos. I highly recommend teaching your parrot tricks, most love to learn new things and show of and it makes you closer to your birdie.

You're also keeping him "busy" and a busy bird is a happy bird. Salty is adorable.

@Capt T.

Silly question, but where do you buy pine nuts and do you cut them yourself?

Secret can turn and can raise a claw and learned these fast (old birds can learn too). I just need to figure out a value treat that won't stuff them full!

Got to admit, hubby and I kept saying, that bird HAS to be full when we watched your video. I adored the roll over.... you have to be super proud of him.
