Hubs took Patch out to potty. He walked around the yard and then sat down. Went to stand back up and walk down the fence line qnd hubs noticed he was walking goofy legged. Went to walk after him and check him out when Patch collapsed and could not move at all. Vomited a couple times and Hubs held his head so he didn't choke. Rushed him to the ER vet at TAMU. Bloodwork is clear, no snake bites or anything suspicious of poisoning. They are keeping him tonight and going to be doing x-rays to see if it is stroke or aneurysm.
They let us go visit for a few minutes before we left. He is lifting his head and tried to stand, so that is good. His breathing is very labored and crackly, and he is very weak. He was not able to stand, but tried.
I am so scared! He is only 7 years old. Looking up side effects of the thyroid medication to see if it would be a possible cause. Please let him be okay!!
