Oh good! Whew! Actually, last night when she was hanging upside down on a swing and couldn't fling herself back up, I gently cupped her back and she let me! And then that was the magic touch or something, cause she stepped up fully afterwards and cuddled on my shoulder, getting scritches.She's adorable!
That whole stepping up thing - reminds me of how Miss L was at first. It was always more fun to keep playing and to fly off to a toy when we asked her to step up. But she got it eventually
She's starting to realize that her new mommy is safe and loving. That's amazing after just a few hours

Keep handling her this way for several hours a day, with breaks in between, offering her favourite treats that she has to pry from your closed fist, and you will slowly be shaping your loving relationship together
