Rules I Can't Enforce

Taking a break from auction threads!

This morning I had the idea for this thread while sweeping the kitchen. Here are some house rules that I can't enforce:

1) No flying while I'm sweeping!
2) No flying while I have muffin liners laid out (this happened last week & 1 out of 24 stayed in the pan).
3) Stay off the counter!
4) Stay off the floor! (Well, Tiki is allowed and now the others all want to see what's down there.)

I think the first one is universal!

Quack tears the vet wrap off her portable t-stand then seems annoyed when she can’t hold on.

Oh, yes, no stealing puzzle pieces while I’m doing a puzzle, Darwin! When he realized I would take them back he started flying in, grabbing one and flying off quick. Chewed up 3 before I could get to him. So I don’t do puzzles at home any more.

Making a dry leaf collage.
Arrange the monthly papers before they are put in the binder.

And one thing to be really happy about is that I don't collects stamps.

Yes that has happened several times so I agree on that.
And I thought it was good to give them once each to play with so I will have the rest on my own, but No! Parrots are collectors.

Besides the fact that I had a puzzle missing 3 pieces that I couldn’t regift? Oh I just got tired of puzzles. Now I do them at my Mom’s retirement home and at my friend’s house. She only has cats that roll around on the puzzle. Ha ha!

no waiting for me to finish vacuuming to decide to raid Max's food bowl and toss everything you don't like across the room (not mentioning names but she's a white bird...)....

One thing often seems to cancel out most of the rules we parronts make: the parrots make their own rules.

Your first one also sounds like Quack! If she's not shredding paper onto the floor right after I've swept, she's pooping on the floor right after I've cleaned it up!

Quack and Max are cousins!!! Definitely related!! Nothing in the world makes Max happier than shredding paper towels or napkins (well maybe chasing Tor's toes, but we won't talk about that....)....

No jumping to the floor and trying to rip bits of carpet fluff up.
No chewing on my tablet case (he screams when I take it from his reach)
