I had stopped giving metacam after the initial improvement and he sliding back into pain territory. This is right after his day 2 consecutive dose of metacam in response to painful landings It's been a few weeks since he last played bowl

It's always fun watching Rudy bowl. So funny seeing him lie on his back while he plays with his bowl. Rudy

He takes his metacam so well. I don’t have to restrain him. Just put the syringe in his mouth wherever he is and he starts swallowing!

:depressed: I wish Rupert did that. I spent time getting him used to syringes with food, and now I can't get him to take anything. Disguising it in other foods hasn't worked, either. He just slings/spits it back at me.

I draw up milk thistle for LScoot in a new syringe then pull up food in front of it and he takes it like a champ! Then I toss the syringe.

Sophie is very good about taking her DMG but when it came to her Rx medications I had to draw up the medication and then some apple juice to get her to take it.

:( Usually that works. Apple is normally something he'd go nuts for, same with berry juice.
