When the skates arrive should I set them on the play top for a few days so they get familiar with them?

Well, It's not helpful in learning. :laugh:

Your sweeties don't seem like big chickens over new items, The first thing you're going to do is tape them together so they don't split apart. Then yes, just set them somewhere so they can look at them.

Just like the pw said, they don't roll too well on smooth surfaces like the freezer top. We'll have to figure some kind of surface out.

We'll likely get a thin piece of plywood cut at hd just for training on BScoot's playtop.

Those are small. :laugh:

I have the FTB ones in macaw size. I really like them. I can't say what size you need but I'm sure we will make do.

If Bscoot is learning... yes, get FTB skates. LOL
