Roach dusting how long to keep bird away

Hello, my apartment complex has just sent out notifications that they will be dusting for roaches next week, I'm not exactly sure what that entails but we are prepared to have my fid stay with my in laws until it's safe but I'm not sure how long that would be.
Can anyone help clue me in?

I don’t know, but after that all things, cages, beds etc will be covered in dust and need cleaning. Did you ask what chemical they are using? It might be diatomaceous earth which is non toxic. But ask and find out. Knowledge is power.
