Today I put two colors of pegs and two rings on the table for the first time together. JoJo picked up both rings and plopped them on the blue peg! Chickie is fetching the ring and trying to aim for the peg. I'm so pleased with them! Not sure how to get JoJo not to bring two rings together! @Macawnutz

Are you putting them on top of each other or is he walking to pick up one and then another?
he walks over to pick the other one up!

Have you tried closing the gap between the ring and the peg? Instead of throwing the rings far from the peg put the two rings close to the peg so he does not have to walk. Reward per ring before removing them and continuing.

Just keep it simple until it becomes routine. :)

So don't bring out the yellow one yet?

Only if you do it like the others. No walk to the right colored peg and separated from the rest. Keep rewarding many more positives than negatives and he should make the connection on his own

Are you feeding big pieces? When they start to really get it you can cut the pieces in half to get more teaching in.

I'm a nut, I'm big with yays and excitement, I clap and bounce around to keep motivation high. :) How do you like the table? Looks like more fun than standing on your tip toes on top of the cage.

Love the table! Glad I listened to your advice because i really didn't want a monster table in there! Everyone loves It! I'll ramp up the excitement level, thanks!
