I'm in tears alot and depressed By birds yesterday were so mopey and knew the bird passed on. The flock has expanded with another pair of green cheeks hut there far from the joy that Spunky gave me

many here know your pain including me.. in February I lost my fancy GCC too.... so don't think you have to just go through it alone!
Is many here who were kind to me and just made it more bearable

You've made a beautiful tribute to your bird - it had me in tears. Spunky was a very well-loved little bird. I hope your other birds will help to keep you going and that you will soon be able to smile when you remember happy times with Spunky. It does get easier in time.

I am so sorry. May I ask what had happened with the hut? Did Spunky ingest the fibers?

Spunky ate the fibers from the hut i kept its hut as it reminds me of her. The necropsy came back with bacterial infection from foriegn fibrous material the company that made the hut multipet inc should be ashamed of the lack of warnings to consumers and for continuing to promote such a bad product
