bwahahahahaha guess what i just found!!!
We had a hard time trying to find the injured feather at the vets....there was one looking pink so she said this must be it.
WELL, right before I left to go to the vet, Scooter had flown off to get away from the carrier and slammed into something (again! :rolleyes:)

NOW I see the feather had already come out in that last tumble!!!!! It is sitting here on the floor. Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!

So all is well. The joke is on me :rofl::rofl:

omg I have to get up earlier. Poor baby B.Scoot. Whenever I see a feather like that, it usually falls out or they pull on it themselves. So glad Big Scooter's fell out :hug8:

Just got back from pizza delivery....the girls looked so pleased :hehe:
Pat, the vet studied the cardboard box of my never-been-used Super Clot. She said she uses silver nitrate. I have to google it.

I handled Big Scooter for her, and for the first time got a few bites when I flipped him over since we just could not find the feather :rofl::rofl:. But not serious bites.
He LOVES car rides though, so I will put it in my weekend routine :dancing:

Owwwieeee - it works well to stop bleeding but it BURNS/STINGS pretty smartly

p.s.
She never used to stock piperacillin, just baytril and clavamox, but she said for your birds I will :dance4: It's a much kinder antibiotic.
