Pure aloe pulp right from the leaf is one of the very best healers, the only problem is not many people keep them in their homes. However we have 3 of the plants here at all times.

may i ask a stuped question ok i know no question is stuped whats wrong with true alovera plant around the wound its a naturial healer and if the leaf is washed befor opening it pure

Everything is going great with Duncan! I put him back into his cage & lowered the perches. The doctor doesn't want us to put anything on the wound, but he does want us to give him a few more days of the antibiotic and he is going to see him at the end of the week. Thanks again everyone for you concern & well wishes! :hug8:

Aww, poor baby. Give her some shredding/preening toys to keep her from picking at her wound. Dolce was injured this morning, and when I noticed her picking, I gave her a little shreddable toy and it did a pretty good job of distracting her. The vet though that was a good idea, too. (Sorry if you've already gotten this advice, I didn't read all 8 pages of posts!)
