Lenny looks like a toy B&G. She is so darned tiny. What a cute, cute pocket bird.

How do these macaws go through he!! and come out fine on the other side. It's a miracle.

Somehow they just learn to trust again. It's so sad and wonderful.

No trouble eating and he said she is really coming out of her shell. Gets excited when he walks in and is really chatty! He said she is the sweetest bird ever.

I'm crying but they are happy tears now.

Sarah, you should post a before and after pix next to each other to show what "just" a little teamwork can do for one bird. I noticed that it looks like she's closing her beak too?

If I lived in the States, I would have considered adopting Lenny.

I would never have thought that they could take that beak (top and bottom) down to normal in one fell swoop. Generally beaks that long take a couple or three applications. Lenny is such a good girl and a treasure for anyone who ends up with her.

She is as tiny as my miniature GW Jasper.

I was looking you the start of the Petey/Petri and I say this thread. It was not until I clicked here that I found that there was a second bird in need.

I am glad that we have such a community here at Avian Avenue. When I see all those here willing to help out a fellow creature on planer Earth, I think maybe there is some hope for the human race.

I'm so happy to help them and I could not have done it without my partner @2MacErik , Sarah to connect the dots, Matt for taking Petey, and the unsung hero; my friend Parvin who owns the vet clinic his owners took some of their horde to, and was alerted to his situation when his owner died and she knew to call me in for help!

I can't wait to help more, hopefully not soon

Lenny is 620 and my zons are about 350....I see what you're saying but thankfully Sarah's friend is enamored.....

Lenny was adopted yesterday.

The most wonderful family was visiting my friend and Lenny fell in love with them.

Apparently Lenny lit up with excitement to see the little boy. She has found her forever home.
