Rescued a bearded dragon

We almost hit this guy who was sitting in the middle of the road on our way to the beach yesterday
Ended up keeping him in a container (with holes for air) with paper towels and watermelon.
Posted him on FB and his owners found us in just a few hours-
Spike the dragon has been reunited and is tuckered out from his adventures.

He was in an outdoor enclosure and escaped somehow. They were looking all over for him- he must have darted out of hiding to soak up sun on the pavement just when we got there

It's great you saw him and stopped before he got hurt and rescued him. He looks like a very laid back lizard, kinda looks like Rango actually Glad his family got him back too, thanks to you. I bet they were very grateful and he just looks...unmoved
