(None of the ingredients are measured. I use any vitamins sparingly. You can sub the wheat flour for powdered pellets.)
Process vegetables in food processor. Add with other ingredients and mix until combined. Slowly add water reserved from your boiled sweet potatoes, just enough to bring mixture together. You want the 'dough' pretty dry.
Take a spatula and scoop onto dehydrator sheet. Spread as flat as possible with rolling pin covered lightly in either coconut oil or wheat flour.
Now you can sprinkle seeds and/or herbs on the outside of your crackers. You can also sprinkle
with bird vitamins.
Use a pizza roller to score your crackers.
You're finally finished and you're messy as he** and exhausted. Now in 16 hours you won't get to enjoy the fruits of your labor, but your birds will!
(Make sure they are completely dry before removing from dehydrator. Wetter 'dough' will take longer to dry out.)
I store these in glass jars, label and date them. Keep in fridge to preserve freshness. You can put a tiny cotton bag of dry rice in to keep these 'dry'.
