I recently noticed the rating thread feature. Do many people use this? Also, if it is rated, where does it show up?

Look now and you will see the stars beside your post. You're an ekkie lover and so am I so I'm biased and gave your post 5 stars.
I think they only show up beside the post title when you are looking at the posts in that particular section.

Hmmm, does it take some time to take effect after you rate a thread? Also, is it just your own rating that shows up? What if people rate the thread differently? Will it average the ratings? Just wondering...no biggy.They should be showing up now. I had to change a setting in the back
Jill, I clicked on the drop down arrow for the stars and mine says I already rated this thread and I hadn't. I haven't rated any threads so far. Needs some tweaking.

Hmm, I will check that out marie. The setting in the back wouldnt let it show until it had recieved 10 ratings so i dropped it down to 1. I'll go see what else needs to be adjusted, it should allow everyone to rate it, and then it averages that rating out. I dont use it much but its great to use on a really good thread to get it more notice
