I am not sure what happened, he was fine yesterday when I checked his food and water, few hours later I happened to look in and he was on the floor dead.
It's so hard to know. Genetics, environmental factors, and if they ARE sick, they usually don't show signs until they are VERY sick. You could take him to your vet for a necropsy if you would like some closure.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Something that fast, if he was acting normally, would likely be something environmental or something like a stroke or genetics. A necropsy is really the only way to know for sure. Fly free Atticus.
