Hi all,
I want to color some plain wooden parts to make toys. Is the typical food coloring bottles that most stores sell the best way to do it? Should I be buying and using something else?
Farlie dispises anything yellow and I want to add more yellow parts to some of his toys. There are some colors he won't even touch.
:thanks:

Try Americolor Gels. They're very saturated and give vivid colours.

I like Gels. Americolor or Wilton's both work quite well. I find Vitacritter to be the easiest personally.

Do you mean that he chews things that are yellow first? Jingo loves yellow and destroys yellow stuff first too :)

I tend to dissolve the Wilton’s bel tubs in a bit of boiling water and then add the alcohol. That ensures there aren’t any clumps. I’ve also used Americolor and reeeally want to switch to Vitacritter but am saving up for when I can buy all of the colours at once.

I use Vitakritter and isopropyl alcohol. Love it!

Farlie goes after anything yellow first but will ignore some colors altogether. He also likes to go after just plain with no color at all. I want to buy yellow and orange. Those two seem to be his worst/best favorites to chew up.
He doesn't chew purple, blue or green.

Gee, a BIG thanks, everybody.:)
