Nooo, he's my tiny friend. He's still a puppy, only nine months old and like 75 lbs. Practically a baby still.
Well, my father's friend but at this point after months of fostering and hours daily of effort in teaching this unholy heathen how to be a good friend I might make him fight me for him. (JK, of course.)

How about a bed for the dog cubby? Such a beauty!

Actually he's a silly bean who is in there because the floor is cool! I've tried putting his puppy bed in there before and he would have none of that. And these pictures were taken from September til late February mind you, not exactly the warmest months of the year.
He is not going to like summer much I think.

Awww - I love it. I do think though he fills that space quite well. He will lose that thick coat soon and get a new one for the summer...much lighter (I'm sure you know that). His new place will be the kids swimming pool that you buy him and fill with water.

Such a handsome guy! I have a half GSD and Doberman, his hair is not long like a shepherd but it is of the same consistency so he stays toasty. He too enjoys laying on the bare tile because it is cool, and will even prefer it over the bed on warmer nights.

These dogs keep maturing til they are around three years old. Mine hasn't been weighed recently but he has to be over 90 at 13 months.
