Four weeks ago I brought Phoenix home, she was a little standoffish and did not want to deal with my hands at all. Today I am happy to announce that Phoenix officially is loving to be cuddled and petted! I am so excited I have to admit that as a birdymom I can be a little impatient, but they are just so darn cute! So it was hard for me sometimes to give Phoenix the time she needed to trust me and of course the supah scary hands. After I stopped petting her today, she just would not stop doing one of her favorite tricks the "spin" in exchange for more scratches and snuggles, clever birdy.
