She's 38g, he's 32. The vet heard nothing in their lungs or heart. They've gone to go get their injections and will have to come back in 10 days.

She said it might only take one more round. The growth was likely caused by the mites and should return to normal. They both got an injection of Ivomec, but only charged for one (20$ for the meds, 13$ for the nails, 77$ for the visit/taxes).

Welp, I found out why the old owners said these two were loud. There were folks coming in and out of the laundryroom all day (going out by the garage and not tracking anything upstairs). They were quietly chirping away, not bothering anyone.
Then my mom started screaming at me, and the birds have been screeching their heads off for a good half hour or so. The two of them sounded absolutely petrified by her screaming.
They've finally settled down and all, but dang, poor birds.

They’re allergic to screaming! She’ll have to pipe down.

The fact that only one of her cheeks has a blue patch is so adorable to me.She is! She's still not 100% and I think she'll need a second round, but she's really looking much better.
