I really do like her so far and am hopeful that she works out

Bobber wasn't truly happy here, and stressed out my whole family, and I let guilt over rehoming Bobber keep him possibly from a better home. He died in part because of my reluctance. I want her to stay, but if it's not a good fit for whatever reason, I am a stronger person now that can be okay with being a stepping stone vs the end all.

I am. Hubby wasn't at first. But then he realized he couldn't do much from Florida and gave in

Like I said before...you guys need each other.

It was the same with Milton and I. The thought that I could properly care for a U2 before adopting Milton...well, at the time, I would have said, "no way." When we walked into the foster's home, I looked into Milty's eyes, and he looked into mine. Right then, I KNEW we needed each other.

Call it fate, karma, or whatever...if it's meant to be...it will be...
