I recently got a tip about a cockatiel that could be mine. But, the location of the found bird is over two hours away in Cape May.
Can this possibly be my Sammie? I don’t want to get my hopes up.

Extra info:
She’s been gone for almost more the a week

It's possible. Unlikely, maybe, but possible. Follow the lead. I still follow leads 3 years later for my Koopa

Can they get better pictures? You could match markings on the wings.

Maybe share your photo with them and they could tell you more?

But if it were me -- I'd already be on the way "just in case."

Yes it is possible if you factor in any breezes/gusts of wind. A small bird can be blow several miles away from where they were originally lost. Seen it happen locally and was lucky enough to be part of the rescue.
