Please pray Harper is going to the vet and he has been sneezing and making odd sounds. I think under his nose is a tiny bit swollen. Please pray for us I hope its nothing serious. :(

Awe poor Harper. I hope he goes well at the vet. Please keep us posted. I will be thinking of him. I had a white faced cockatiel in my youth. They are very special birds.

Not necessarily... cockatiels are dusty birds and sneezing does help to clear the nasal passages. That said... if it's excessive sneezing then it warrants a check with the vet. Is there any matter coming out of the nostrils? Wet? How often do you change the paper in the cage. What food do you feed? Could it be dusty? Does Harper get frequently baths or misting?

I hope he's okay. Are the sneezes wet or dry?

Wet sneezes can be cause for concern. A vet check is a good idea. Dry sneezes are pretty normal, especially after preening. But wet sneezes can be a sign of a respiratory infection. Which can be cleared up with antibiotics. So it's good you're going to see a vet.

I hope that he is ok. Tiels can get upper respiratory infections and usually can be treated with antibiotics.
