FOUND IN THOUSAND OAKS CA.

1 NAKED PORCUPINE,
LOOKING FOR
CULPRIT THAT STOLE HIS QUILLS !
Score: Porcupine 1 - PitBull 0

A pitbull was in his backyard in southern California , minding his own business,
when a porcupine invades his territory. The brave but stupid pit bull immediately
challenges the porcupine!

Bad decision
.... the porcupine won this short contest.

A vet sedated the dog and then removed a total of 1,347 quills.
The dog survived and has, hopefully, learned a valuable lesson.

Oh, that poor dog!!!! We had a dog come into the clinic that got a facefull of quills. Nowhere near as many as this poor dog, though!! They're very difficult to remove!!

OMGosh that is crazy. That dog must have not given up until the thing was naked. Could you imagine if that was your dog? What you would think when you saw it. Wow

I hope the porcupine is ok.:( I wonder if it hurts to have your quills pulled out from being stuck in another animals hide.

Poor dog. If the yard is fenced, would the porcupine have gotten in the yard? Shouldn't the owners be more attentive?

Porcupines climb trees so a fence would have been no barrier for them. It doesnt hurt the porcupine to lose its quills it is a defense mechanism for them and they are very loosely attached to their body. They grow them back once they lose them

:omg: I hope that the dog is ok! I know that getting quills in you hurts bad. I just hope they give the dog some pain meds to help with the discomfort!
