Piliated woodpeckers

The other day I saw for the first time ever, a pair of Piliated Woodpeckers! I've seen and heard the male multiple times but never the female. The male is in front with the red mustache. I've never gotten a image of them in a single frame like this! I saw them out the window and ran and got my camera. Quietly went out the door and got this image of them. They are pretty elusive birds and I feel so lucky to have gotten this shot! Great picture with both birds! Nice! We had a pileated woodpecker in the woods at our last house. I never saw 2, just one big guy pounding away at the trees every year. How could they be real? Nature is amazing!

Beautiful once when I went camping I was sitting outside around 6:30 am drinking my coffee when here came 2 piliated woodpeckers and he was doing you know what to her my camera was in the trailer by the time I could get it they had moved on I felt lucky to have seen them
