    Hi,

I have the flu. Is there any way at all I can pass this to my cockatiels? That would kill me if I did.

    Thank you.

Good question! I don’t think the flu that’s going around is contagious to birds.

    Wishing you a quick recovery.
Please go to the doctor if you develop a high fever.

I learn something new every day. That's a relief because of the influx of flu season. Get well soon.

AWWW, thank you so much Wendy and Shawn for your well wishes. That means a lot. I am staying home from work for as long as I feel I need to so I don't have a relapse once I feel better. I am just so relieved that my boys will be OK.

I hope you feel better soon. I'm pretty sure that it's only bacterial and fungal things we need to worry about passing on to our 'fids.
