Hey fellow parrotlet enthusiasts! I was just curious about parrotlet sleeping positions and what they might find comfortable. My parrotlet (Baxi! In my profile picture!) used to sleep on top of his swing, pressed against his cage. But now he sleeps in position like he's doing the splits. Definitely makes my family laugh! How do your parrotlets sleep?

Mine did sleep over his toy so pressed against the top of the cage, or under it with his head hidden in the cotton threads, or upside down on the side of the cage or a corner (so splits too!)

Picard sleeps on the side of his rope swing. Not in the swing, but clinging to the curved outter edge.

Neptune has the same swing, but he is a perch boy. He likes a curved paper bark branch and he will sit on the curved part, but he is in a more horizontal position.

One sleeps in the splits like yours (how the heck is that comfy??)

One sleeps like an apostrophe hanging up in the corner of the cage.

Two sleep on perches.

My brother's parrotlet used to sleep wearing a bell as a little hat, completely covering his head.
