Pictures Parrot of the Poppy Field!

A few weekends ago I took Jack on a little trip to see the mighty superbloom that's going on. He did wonderfully and seemed to enjoy the sights and experiencing his first time flying/navigating strong winds. Didn't take him long to figure out how to work those wings to keep steady.






(Where's Jack!?! This above pic cracks me up since it just looks like I'm talking to the flowers. XD)







He had his harness on the whole time. Some pics had a little photoshop work done to hide the lead.

Thank you! My friend was very excited to come along and practice parrot photography. She took all of these photos.

It's funny how fitting he suddenly was in that environment. Blended in perfectly besides that mime black and white face of his. lol

Palmdale? Anywhere the poppies are in bloom is a mighty long ride, but soooo worth it for the sights!

Yeah, near Palmdale. Drive wasn't too bad--about an hour from where I am. I agree...Soo worth it for the sights!

haha, yes! His little eyes were bugging out when I first brought him out of the car and all this orange appeared. He's very, very quiet whenever he's outside, but once he was home---so. much. babbling. Which I'm sure was all about field trip.
