I have started doing some target training with Papaya about a week or so ago. I had already trained him to station on a perch while I feed him because he would come running at my hand with an open beak when I would feed him. So, we have been doing that for years, but the target stick training I started recently. He seems to like it and runs up to his perch when he sees me get the stick out. He has been more chattery with me when I come close to the cage and talk to him. Today, he was making a lot of kissy noises, clicking noises and chattering. It sounded like he said, "that's a good boy".
