Hi!
My name is Pablo, I'm 34, and my son's name is George. He's a Senegal parrot and he's 9 years old. I got him from his breeder, a very nice lady, back in 2008 when he was four months old.
He's a wonderful little guy and he really likes his attention. He eats a ton, loves baths, and is not a one person bird, which is unusual for a Senegal. He likes pretty much everybody and will go on a strangers shoulder and start preening that persons hair within 30 minutes of meeting them, if he likes that person. I spend 6-8 hours a day with him on my shoulder. I'm almost always home, and I sleep next to his cage. We've become very close. We trust each other completely.
I never knew I would have such a good relationship with him or love him so much. I'm so glad I adopted him when he was a kid. Here's to another 30(+) years together!
