The carpenter came by today to give me an estimate on making two wood frames with welded wire to affix outside the east windows so we can enjoy the winter sun as the wimps won't go out under 65 degrees
Well his estimate was ridiculous for the kind of job it is. His dad made a GreyHouse for us and that one can understand.
Anyways as i type materials are being gotten at HD and we will DIY the frames!!! In theory it is a snap as we have hurricane shutter bolts already in the brick outside and we can slide the frame onto and wing nut it tight. We shall see

He brought his GF and they and the birds had a Fabulous time!! The quakers stated laughing and laughing and that set the couple off even harder
Then BScoot emerged from the GH and they tried to get him to bite them by shoving their hands in his face!!
I hurriedly educated them and restored equilibrium

....my mom is a classic beauty...dainty features and oh a nose to die for. The kind women beg plastic surgeons to give them....And *i* have a blob of a nose
So at age 10 i was walking around for a long time holding a pair of tongs pinching my nose to make it nice and sharp like hers and she saw me and said WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING???
i was glad to stop. my nose was starting to turn blue and hurt a little
