Adopted a 3 year old Bare Eye about two months ago!

I posted some pictures of him a week or so ago.. The post is called "precious" if you want to see him. He came from a lady who could no longer keep him due to having to take in a elderly parent who is horrified of birds. He is the sweetest bird ever. Loves everyone. He was an "only bird" so I think he did get a lot of attention. I think she carried him around on her a lot while she was home. I am working with him on being able to be on his stand and not "demand" attention. He has good days and bad days, but overall improving. I learned though another member that he needed a very stimulating out of cage environment and that has helped. I just ordered him a Exotic Wood stand. I can't wait to get it! Overall I just love him, but with any adopted bird there are obstacles to overcome!

Love the BE2s but I think I would go with a Slender Bill...

I think they are gorgeous birds but quite frankly my three-bird flock is about as much as I can handle.
